The Caine Road Campus

Then:
The Caine Road compound was acquired in 1861 from Mr. Leonardo d’Almada e Castro with a nominal sum of money. Fr. Antonio acted as the architect of the building and the compound as to house:
  1. the convent
  2. three day schools (English, Portuguese and Chinese)
  3. a boarding school
  4. the Orphanage for children and adults and
  5. the Chapel
All of the above buildings have been demolished and only the chapel remained.

"Though the building will fall some day, the Sacred Heartist spirit never will".
