2019 Day Trip - Wye Marsh and Midland Downtown

On Sunday July 21, 2019, a total of 56 participants (Sacred Heartists with families and friends) attended this day trip.  Despite the "chance of thunder storms" warnings in the weather forecast, the weather turned out perfect for the day trip.  We had clear blue skies with dry cool breeze throughout the day.
1)  In the morning, we visited the "Nancy Island Historic Site" located in Wasaga Beach 2.  The 10 minutes film and the museum provided us with a piece of Canadian history dated 1812-1814.  Admission fee was paid via donation to the Site.
2)  Then we had lunch, a 4-course meal, at "The Library" in Midland.
3 a) After lunch, 29 attendees explored the wildlife habitat through hiking, and
   b) 9 chose canoeing through the marsh channels, both in Wye Marsh Wildlife Center in the heart of Georgian Bay.
   c) 18 attendees visited Midland downtown & waterfront, and enjoyed the famous murals in the area.
